Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Mto wa Mbu/Karatu
Your safari begins with pickup from your accommodation in Arusha. After a short briefing, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife areas.
Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and seasonal concentration of wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes and many bird species.
After the game drive, continue to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight camping.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive.
The crater is one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations and is home to a high concentration of animals. During your game drive, you may see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.
After exploring the crater, ascend and begin your journey back to Arusha, where the safari ends.

If you are arriving at or departing from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), we can arrange a shared transfer between the airport and Arusha.
