Day 1: Arusha – Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Area
Your safari begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Arusha toward the Ndutu region, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy a full afternoon game drive across the vast grasslands where enormous herds of wildebeests gather during the calving season.
Witness newborn calves taking their first steps while predators patrol nearby, creating one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles in Africa. Along the way, you may also encounter zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, ostriches, jackals, hyenas, cheetahs, and numerous bird species.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Often called the Eighth Wonder of the World, the crater is home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife.
Descend over 600 meters to the floor of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, where you may encounter an incredible diversity of wildlife, including African lions, African elephants, black rhinos, Cape buffaloes, leopards, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, Thomson's gazelles, Grant's gazelles, warthogs, flamingos, ostriches, and numerous bird species, all thriving within one of Africa's most remarkable natural ecosystems.
Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the beautiful scenery before beginning the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
