Meet our team at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Rest and prepare for your Kilimanjaro adventure.
Overnight: Moshi Hotel
Enjoy a visit to Materuni Waterfall, experience the local Chagga culture, and return to Moshi for your Kilimanjaro briefing and gear check.
Overnight: Moshi Hotel
Depart Moshi after breakfast and drive to Machame Gate for registration. Trek through the beautiful rainforest to Machame Camp.
Distance: 11 km | Trekking: 5–7 hours
Overnight: Machame Camp
Enjoy an additional day around Machame Camp to rest and acclimatize gradually before continuing higher on the mountain.

Continue through the moorland zone toward Shira Cave, enjoying panoramic views of Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape.

Trek across the high desert toward Lava Tower before descending into the impressive Barranco Valley.

Climb the famous Barranco Wall and continue across the alpine desert to Karanga Camp.

Continue toward Barafu Camp, the final base camp. Rest and prepare for the early morning summit attempt.
